Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

One of the best CSA scores in the industry.

The FMCSA's Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program is the gold-standard scoring system for U.S. motor carriers. J.P. McMahon maintains one of the best CSA scores in the industry — across both Freight and Hazardous Materials trucking categories.

We take great pride in the responsibility that our customers entrust us with each and every day of the year. Our safety record isn't an accident — it's the result of disciplined hiring, ongoing training, well-maintained equipment, and a culture that puts safe driving ahead of speed every single time.

How We Earn It

Safety, by design.

Industry-leading CSA scores don't happen by luck. They come from rigorous practices applied without compromise — every driver, every shift, every truck.

Modern Equipment

We invest in newer, properly maintained tractors and tankers — and replace them on a planned cycle. No driver should ever wonder whether their truck is up to the job.

Rigorous Hiring

Every driver must hold a Class-A CDL with both Tanker and HazMat endorsements, a clean driving record, and verifiable experience. Standards are not flexible.

Active Compliance

DOT physicals, drug testing, road tests, and ongoing safety training. Compliance is monitored continuously — not just at audit time.

TWIC Credentialed

Our drivers are TWIC-credentialed (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) — required for access to secured maritime, refinery, and aviation facilities.

Hours-of-Service Discipline

Every driver runs within FMCSA hours-of-service rules. Electronic logging, no exceptions. Fatigue is the most preventable cause of incidents — and we prevent it.

Preventive Maintenance

Inspections, fluid checks, brake services, tank-cleaning protocols — done on schedule, documented, and verified. Trucks roll out only when they're ready.

HazMat Certified

Built to move what others can't.

Hauling fuel isn't general freight. It requires Hazardous Materials certification, specialized tanker equipment, dual-endorsement drivers, and a regulatory understanding most carriers simply don't have.

We've held our HazMat certification continuously since FMCSA registration in 2016, and we've built our entire operation around the discipline that hazardous-cargo hauling demands.

  • HazMat certified — interstate & intrastate
  • Tanker-equipment specialists
  • Dual-endorsement (HazMat + Tanker) drivers
  • Real-time tracking and delivery confirmation
